Rick Yocum is the Executive Director of the Humane Society of Manatee County.  

 

Today he will be talking about Hurricane and storm preparedness for our pets and efforts to reunite pets lost during the most recent hurricane.  Rick was a certified humane law enforcement officer who trained other officers and investigated animal cruelty cases in NJ before coming to FL.

Marilyn Litt

Director, Lost Dogs of Texas

Marilyn Litt is the Director of Lost Dogs of Texas, an online organization that helps reunite thousands of dogs with their families in Texas using Facebook. Marilyn has been helping put families back together since Hurricane Katrina, when her organization reunited over 1,500 families with their animals.

 

Today Marilyn will be talking about how to prepare your pets for disasters and storms and other methods of finding lost pets. She will also share some happy ending stories of reunions aftert he most recent Hurricane.

Director & Founder, Lost Dogs of Wisconsin

Kathy Pobloski is the Director and co-founder of Lost Dogs of Wisconsin.  On this episode, Kathy will be discussing methods of helping to find lost pets and what do to if you've found a stray pet.  Kathy is also a co-founder of Lost Dogs of America.

Anne Mallore, author and owner of Wags Pet Motel talks about how losing everything in their lives wasn't the end but the beginning of something better.
