Pet Food Banks

Sarasota and Manatee County

Local pet food banks are available for those in need of short-term help with dog or cat food.  These services are available for those owners trying to keep their pets and not relinquish them to shelters.  If assistance is needed, these are the resources.  If you are able to contribute, drop off food at any of these locations.

Food is distributed Tuesday -Saturday from 10 am to 4:30 pm.

 

The Pet Pantry is a service of the Humane Society and is made possible through the generous contributions of local community members and businesses. For Manatee County residents who are unable to feed their pets, HSMC will assist by providing temporary pet food assistance.

The Humane Society of Sarasota County’s Pet Pantry Program is made possible through generous contributions from our local community and business partners. This valuable service is offered to Sarasota residents in need of temporary assistance in feeding their pets during financial hardships. We accept unopened dog and cat food and appreciate the continued support for this program.

Food is available for pick up once a month.

 

Suncoast Humane Society understands that due to financial constraints, pet owners may need more assistance in getting food for their pets and we want to help! You may visit our animal care center located at 6781 San Casa Drive to fill out an application for assistance to receive dog or cat food on a monthly basis until you are able to do so on your own.

Cat Depot provides food for those in need of food for their personal pets.  Proof of income requirements are required and verified.
