Maggie

Maggie was found abandoned in a very rural section of northern Manatee County. She was found with her young puppy. The puppy has since been adopted, but poor Maggie was brought to the vet and found to be suffereing from heartworms. She is currently undergoing the painful heartworm treatments. She already had one setback requiring an additional vet visit. With just one eye, we have no idea what trauma she's been through already, but she is the sweeteset dog and her medical foster, Iris, says she will make someone a very lucky pet owner when she is ready for adoption.
