Buddy II

Neglected, but Now Loved

Buddy II

Buddy was found wandering the streets in terrible condition. Based on the horrendous condition he was found in, we believed he may have been used by back-yard breeders. As expected, no one came forward to claim him.

His long hair was so matted, he needed to be anesthetized to remove the mats that our volunteer was not able to remove. Thankfully, at his exam no other major issues were found.

Many times pets found in this condition have no trust. Buddy trusted his foster, but eventually started showing some signs that additional training would be helpful. Lost Pet Services hired Iris Eastman, a behavioral specialist, to help Buddy. After just a couple sessions, Buddy was ready to be adopted into a new home.

As all Lost Pet Services adoptable pets, he was neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm tested before finding his new family.

He now lives happily with his two human sisters and new mom and dad.
